Make Government Work

The government must work for the people it serves. We will strengthen transparency, improve oversight of public spending, and ensure public resources are used effectively and equitably for residents, small businesses, and community organizations.

Residents deserve a real voice in shaping decisions that affect their neighborhoods. We will expand accessible, multilingual community engagement, especially for immigrant communities, working families, and historically underrepresented groups, and bring decision-making processes directly into neighborhoods.

We will also pursue fair and sustainable funding solutions that protect working families while ensuring the wealthiest individuals and corporations contribute their fair share.

We will modernize government services, including responsible use of technology, to make services more accessible, efficient, and responsive so residents can get help when they need it.
